Instantly visualize and understand the relationships between important market players. This tool can be used to quickly create visual maps linking various companies that can uncover links and relationships that might be hard to detect otherwise.
There are three types of views that can be created: Direct Relationships, Indirect Relationships and Common Ties. You pick what companies you want to look at, then select from the menus various categories such a Senior Executives.
Lets look at an example: Microsoft, then Microsoft + Google. Click on the images to enlarge.
Enter “mircosoft” and click on “Submit”. You get are presented with many selections. In this example, we selected the first entry of Microsoft Corp with Ticker: MSFT, since that is what we are interested in.
We next selected “Direct Relationships”, then clicked Board Members and C-level Executives we generated the Knowledge Map.

Now we want to see what the relationships are between Microsoft and Google. We select the Common Ties tab and enter Google for the second entry, perform the lookup, then select the entry we desire, Google GOOG. We select the relationships we want from Direct, Past, Indirect, Past and generate the Knowledge Map Preview.
Now selecting the View Detailed Map we can see some interesting links between Google and Microsoft and intermediate companies.
If you select more relationships you can generate very complex maps like this one for Microsoft. You can gain great insight into how a company is interacting with other companies. This is a great tool for competitive analysis.
This is paid service but they offer a-la-cart pricing. A purchased Knowledge Map will unlock additional benefits and well worth the cost in our opinion.
